Standards and practices, when supported by a verification program, can provide a means to validate the quality of an organization's work, enhance credibility and build public, investor and government trust. CLC is currently developing such a program for private land conservation organizations in Canada.

Current phase
Having completed the consultation and groundtruthing processes, we are very excited to be entering the soft launch phase of this program.
As part of this phase we are excited to partner with conservation groups who are interested in participating in the program to including training and other support and advice required by the participating organization.
